Start with frames
Remove loose dust from frames, seals and sills before washing glass, using separate cloths for frames and glass. Otherwise dirt moves back onto wet glass.
Choose a time when the glass is not hot or in strong direct sunlight if possible. Rapid drying makes an even result harder. Do not suddenly cool hot glass.
Dilute detergent correctly
Follow the package and device instructions. More concentrate does not guarantee cleaner glass and can leave residue. A 20 ml RM 503 portion is mixed with 230 ml water to make 250 ml solution according to its instructions.
Work in smaller areas using a suitable clean cloth. Remove heavy loose dirt first and avoid abrasive or sandy cloths.
Remove liquid and finish edges
With a WV 6 Plus, keep the blade clean and use steady passes. Wipe the blade when needed and empty the dirty-water tank as instructed. Finish by drying edges and the sill.
For large compatible windows, an RCW 4 is an option only with safe placement and safety-rope attachment. Never lean outside to install a robot.
