Kärcher SE 3 Compact — Usage guide
1. Remove loose dirt with a dry vacuum before wet cleaning – the SE 3 Compact is not a dry vacuum cleaner. 2. Test the surface for colour fastness and water resistance in an inconspicuous area. 3. Fill the fresh-water tank only to the MAX mark (up to 1.7 L). Water or cleaning solution must not exceed 50 °C. 4. Use Kärcher RM 519 or only the supplied detergent that is explicitly suitable for spray-extraction cleaners, following its package dosage exactly. Do not use foaming products or a chemical with unknown dosage. 5. Spray moderately and pull the nozzle slowly towards you in overlapping strokes; do not over-wet the surface. 6. After use, flush the system with clean water, empty and rinse the dirty-water tank (up to 2.9 L), and leave the parts open to dry. 7. Return the machine clean, emptied and with all accessories at the agreed time.

During use
Do not use the machine for construction dust, ash, chemical solvents, oil or other unsuitable material.
Water and detergent
Tank use and detergent depend on the model. Select your equipment’s guide below and follow the supplied detergent’s package dosage. Do not apply another model’s tank capacity or detergent instructions.
After use
Clean and empty the equipment according to its model instructions and let removed washable parts dry. Do not immerse electrical equipment in water.
Late return
A further rental-day charge may apply if the equipment is returned late without a new agreement.
